How does Make My Calls for ACT! work?
The dialer is a hardware/software plugin. The single line dialer connects to your pc using an USB connection and to the phone line. It comes with a headset which plugs into the front of the dialer. It has sound cables to connect to your sound card for recording and play back. The plugin software is installed and shows up as a tab in your contact view. Create a lookup and goto your contact view of the first record. Click the dial button and the dialer calls the number. You hear the customer’s phone ringing. After the call is finished, click one of the call result buttons and the record history is updated and the phone automatically hangs up. The software automatically moves to the next record in the lookup, goes offhook and dials it.
