ACT-To-Outlook Conversion Services

Designed to get your data to Outlook fast and easy, the standard conversion brings over the following data:

• All standard and User Defined Fields are converted.
• All Notes, History (with respective Attachments), and Sales Opportunities are brought over to the Contact's body text. In addition, all ownership is brought over as well.
• All ToDo's (Tasks in Outlook), Calls and Meetings (Calendar Items in Outlook) are brought over.
• All secondary Contacts are brought over as User Defined Fields.
• All Group Membership is translated to Outlook Categories.

Onsite Conversions!
For Onsite Conversions, we use Goto Meeting to login to your computer and perform the conversion on your system. You don't have to send us any data and the conversion happens right on your system.

The purchase is for a Single Conversion Service -- i.e., we will convert your database once. The provided ACT! database is converted to Outlook and we provide you with an Outlook .pst. Our deliverable is the Outlook .pst for you to use.

• Upon receipt of your purchase, you are directed to a link with upload instructions. Also, an Email is sent to you with upload instructions.
• Once the database is converted, a download link is provided that contains the resulting Outlook .pst file and instructions on mounting it into Outlook.
  
  Important
• The number of users in the database must be the same or less than the number of users purchased for the conversion. To check, go to the Users Administration screen and count the number of users. All Users must be counted (active and inactive).
• Warning: Do not delete users from your database because it corrupts the indexes and data.
  
  When do you need an Onsite Conversion?
• When you want to include all the Attachments (documents, Emails, etc.) that are listed in the Contact's History and Notes.
• When you want to transfer alarms from ACT! to Outlook and have the alarms execute in Outlook.


Conversion of ACT! Notes, History, Attachments, Documents, Sales Opportunities to Outlook.
• By default, all ACT! Notes, History (with or without Attachments) and Sales Opportunities are concatenated together and put as a single text mass into the Contact's Body Text.
• If you want each item to be converted into a separate Outlook Item in a Journal that can be sorted and searched via the Outlook Activities tab, you must purchase the Advanced Conversion. Independent items are also beneficial when you are converting to another CRM package.
