TAPI.NET enables you to take incoming calls, make outgoing calls and record them immediately in ACT!.

Highlights

  • Popup
    The popup window can be freely placed on your screen and configured for your convenience. Only once you click on the popup window is a call placed or an incoming call accepted.
  • Phone Numbers
    All call numbers contained in the database are displayed. Fax and modem numbers can be suppressed.
  • Open Tasks
    All telephone appointments for the current day are displayed and can be dealt with in turn. The tasks can then automatically be designated as accomplished.
  • Return to Previous Tasks
    If you are currently working on a contact and a call comes in, you can switch to the caller within ACT!. After the call, you can return to the previous contact.
  • Setting up a Contact
    If you are called by someone whose number is not in the database, you can immediately create a contact, enter the call number, and make a note of the call and a possible date for calling back.
  • Copying
    You can add call numbers into an already-existing contact.
  • Choice of Fields
    You can choose the fields to be displayed.

    If a 2.Contact is calling you, see the related Contact.

Incoming Calls

  • Without Headset
    After picking up a call, the contact must be confirmed by mouse click. The timer starts, the contact is displayed and a History-record is created.
  • With Headset
    By clicking on the contact, the call is accepted, the timer is started, and a History-record is made.
  • Not Accepting a Call
    The incoming call is recorded in the history and an activity (incoming call) is generated.

Outgoing Calls

  • Scheduled Outgoing Call
    A scheduled outgoing call is immediately initiated from the To-Do List in ACT!. If you click on it, the contact is dialed, the activity is de-activated, and a record is created. If you do not reach the contact, the activity at hand is deferred.
  • Unscheduled Outgoing Call
    An unscheduled outgoing call is initiated immediately from a contact, a website or an email. A record is generated. If you do not reach the contact, a new activity is created.
